June 20th,2009 - Companies 236,332 were alerted at 03:47hrs for a motor vehicle crash involving
a utility pole with possible one still inside. 236asst-2on scene confirming vehicle into a pole. One injured victim self extricated
sitting outside the vehicle. Station 236 on scene for 45 minutes for debris cleanup and assisting EMS. Patient
transported to Presby Trauma center by Plum EMS.

June 17th, 2009 - Stations 233,234,236 were alerted at 1946hrs for a reported residential structure
fire. 234chief on scene with heavy fire through the roof. As crews arrived on scene all operations were forced to a defensive mode due
to a roof collapse. Crews remained on scene for over three hours after the initial knock down applying
22,000 gallons of water onto the structure. County Fire Marshall investigating
the incident

June 16th,2009 - Stations 236,234 were alerted at 1515hrs for a passenger van on fire with
one
occupant around the vehicle. 236Engine-2 on scene with a good engine and passenger
compartment fire. Crews on scene over an hour for salvage and overhaul operations

Busy Afternoon For Station 236
June 15,2009 - Stations 233,236 were alerted at 1611hrs for a motor vehicle crash on Saltsburg
Rd. at Boyce Park Dr. with injuries. Incident handled by Station 233
Stations 234,233,236,333 were alerted at 17:01 hrs for a residential structural
fire at 9127 Oak St. in Renton. 233 asst on scene reporting an electrical fire
with extension inside the garage. Fire was extinguished with a pre-connect from
233 truck. 1000' of 5" laid from 236-engine 1 to supply 233truck.Crews on scene
for over an hour for salvage and overhaul.

While crews were working the Oak St detail in Renton County 911 alerted Stations
233,236,234for a report of smoke inside a residential structure at 434 Trestle
Rd. 233Chief added Monroeville 195 and Penn Hills 223. 233Chief on scene with
195Engine, 195Truck reporting a plastic water bottle came in contact with the
heating element inside a dishwasher

May 5th, 2009 - Stations 236,233,234, and Westmoreland 332 and 333 were alerted at 23:17hrs for
a reported structure fire in the ceiling of the bakery prep room of Shop-N-Save
on Route 286. Chief 236 on scene with command reporting light smoke from side
"C" of the building. 236asst-1 handling interior operations reported a working
fire in the ceiling of the bakery. 236 engine -1 and 236 truck were at the rear
of the building with a 5" supply line with interior operations. 233 truck, 332
truck were set up on side "A" of the building securing the roof. 234 attack, 333
engine supplied 5" lines to both trucks. Fire was extinguished within 20 minutes
with moderate fire damage to the prep room. Smoke conditions through out the sales
floor. Crews remained on scene for over two hours removing smoke and completing
salvage and overhaul operations. Fire under investigation by the Allegheny County
Fire Marshall. Great job to all companies involved.

Structure Fire
April 13th, 2009 - Stations 236, 234,233,333 were alerted at 07:54hrs for a smoke condition inside
a structure as a result of a fire outside the front door. 236 Chief on scene with
light smoke condition inside the residence and heavy fire damage to side B. Crews
on scene for 45 minutes overhauling the area of the porch and door. Minor extension
found. Occupant stated he discarded a lit cigarette into a plastic bucket the
evening before.

Chimney Fire
April 12th, 2009 - Stations 236,233,234,333 were alerted at 12:05hr for a reported chimney fire,
236 Chief on scene with light smoke condition in the basement. Crews began overhaul
operations to the fire place and checking for extension on division I and II while
236 truck crew working the chimney from the roof. Companies on scene for over
an hour completing all operations

Motor Vehicle Crash with Entrapment
March 26th,2009 - Stations 236, 233 were alerted at 23:05hrs for a Motor Vehicle crash with
possible injuries. Police on scene reporting a vehicle over a 40' ravine on it's roof with one person still inside. Patient
was extracated and from the vehicle was was brought up the hill utilizing a pulley
system and a stokes basket. Patient care was transferred to EMS once the patient
was at the top of the hill. Patient was transported by Plum EMS to a Pgh trauma
center for evaluation. Fire crews remained on scene for over an hour for cleanup

Storm Damage
FEBRUARY 11th, 2009 - At approx 20:00hrs a major cold front moved through Plum Borough putting the
fire departments into high alert. Rain and high winds exceeding 60mph were reported
in the area. Station 236 working a natural gas leak during the height of the storm.
An additional 15 alarms received ranging from a residential structure fire to
numerous power lines and trees down in the Holiday Park area. A unified command
was established between the fire departments to mitigate each incident.

Natural Gas Line Rupture
FEBRUARY 11th,2009 - Stations 236,233,234 dispatched at 21:15 hrs for a large gas line rupture
behind the Presque Isle Plaza on Route 286. 236Asst 1 on scene with Police reporting a 2" natural gas line ruptured due
to a fallen tree from the recent wind storm. Crews began evacuating multiple
apartment buildings and a assist living complex in the area of the gas leak. Residents
were temporarily re-located to O'Block junior high school. Additional medics units
were requested to stage for evacuees and fire personnel. Dominion Gas arrived
on scene, at 23:00hrs gas line was shut down and residents were allowed back in
thier homes.

Motor Vehicle Crash
FEBRUARY 11th, 2009 - Stations 233, 236 were dispatched at approx 07:55 for a Motor Vehicle Crash
with ejection on Pierson Run Road near the log cabin. 236-Asst 2 on scene with
one male lying in the roadway with the vehicle on it's roof on the side of the
road. Units on scene assisted with the injured male who was transported to a PGH
trauma center by Plum EMS. Fire units remained on scene additional 30 minutes
to
clean up hazards.

FEBRUARY 3RD 2009 - Stations 233,234,236 alerted for motor vehicle crash involving a 28' box truck
on it's side with heavy front end damage with entrapment. All personnel were assigned
to assist with a major extraction. Plum EMS on scene on scene for patient care
and scene safety. patient was extracted just under an hour using every power and
hand tool from 233 Rescue. Patient was flown by STAT to a trauma unit

January 25th 2009 - Stations 236, 233, 234, Westmoreland station 333(Sardis) were dispatched for
a structure fire on Big Horn Dr. Chief 236 on scene reporting working fire to
a split level single family dwelling. Units arrived on scene and began operations.
Crews advanced hand lines to the basement and second floor of the structure. The
fire advanced to the second floor causing a partial floor collapse. Crews were
ordered out of the structure and a defensive operation was put in place by placing truck 233 platform to the front
of the structure and flowing water into the attic. The fire was brought under
control and a extensive salvage and overhaul was done.

Holiday Park Fire Department responded to 834 calls for the year 2008. Of those
calls 470 of them were medical calls and 364 were fire related calls with 83 of
